Batik Lasem Project GUI is almost based on the Christian’s (Design Student) Design which mostly emphasizing on the contrast of black and white. this minimalist design works with the color of the batik that sold in the site
Front Look
The front look are looks very simple design with black as a header and the base color of white , black and red emphasizing the simplicity yet strong character of the UI. with the custom logo placed in the middle on the front pages really promoted the batik lasem.
We also created site map so users dont get lost in our site. the site map himself is dominated by black color and white fonts so it would stood out with the previous base color white to create a contrast effect and make it more color dynamic.
Products
we have more than 200 choices of the products that people can choose.. they also can sort it through product categories to narrow down the search.
the Check out pages is after you shop the batik, every batik that you pick will enter the cart then you have to check out to pay the price. the payment method is through sending to designated bank account then sent the proof of payment as authentication method that to confirmed that you already paid

History of Batik
History of Batik is filled with the Batik Lasem Lore which also created using simple white base color because it would easy to read the large chunk of text. We also put the navigation bar on the right side with red color to contrast the base color to make it more visible, which the point having this is to make sure the user not lost inside the pages
Backend
The back end we use the free to use backend template. in the dashboard you would see the statistic of the site. you can also edit the information that shown on the front end using this CMS.

The topic for our e-commerce final project is batik lasem. However, we don’t plan to only selling products, we also want to educate our customer and visitor about the origin and characteristics of batik lasem.
For our front end, the non registered users are able to search for products in our catalog using its name or by using enhanced search based on its color, type, and price range. Before adding products to cart and commenting or reviewing our products, the user have to be registered and logged in. They can register in our web page. After adding some products to cart and checking out, the user will be informed how much they have to pay and after that, the administrator or web owner will be notified about the order.
In the back end, the administrator are able to add, edit, and remove the products in the catalog. They also able to check and delete the comment in the product page. And the most important part is they are able to view and update the order status.

Background
There are a lot of Batik production in Indonesia, one of them is called Lasem, which is famous in Central java. This batik is used since the kingdom era in Indonesia. The price of this Batik is not cheap, therefore only several people able to used this Batik. Nowadays, this Batik is more popular than before so people may use it during some ceremony or wedding. In our era, finding things like Batik is hard because not every store sell it, only several store has it which still rare in society. Therefore, we decide to provide a e-commerce website as the solution to help people try to find this Batik in Indonesia.
As a group of three, which is Dimas, Kevin and Geraldy, we would like to propose to create a website that provide a transaction or we usually called it e-commerce website which will serve as the online shop for the customer so people can find this produce easily. The website will be based by the website created by Christian HL and we will plan to improve several things to the website.
Feature:
Currently, the website that created by Christian only a website to display the product, there fore we plan to add some feature such as:
a. User account
This website will have a form that works as a registration form to our website. The member will be able to do transaction to buy the Batik Lasem.
b. Shopping Cart
This feature is a part of membership feature, by having a shopping cart, user can purchase more than one item. Compare to simple website that does not able to save the user choice, it only able to purchase one item at a time.
c. Review Form
This review form is provided for the Lasem, in case there are some feedback from the user or some comment regarding the product or the website, user can put it in feedback form so the admin of the Lasem website can read it and response to the review.
language:
the website that has been created is using the simple HTML language , which is only works as front end. We will use the PHP as the backend language to provide the feature that we mention above. in addition, we use Code Igniter as the framework that will make the file and the code more integrated and less complicated than using manual PHP language.
